The lessons cover every aspect of flute playing in jazz. ' Tim's course gives an overview of the styles and development of the flute in jazz with musical examples beginning with the first recorded jazz solo of Wayman Carver to Paul Horn, Yusef Lateef, Dolphy and Frank Wess. Tim Price answers questions of interest to both flute soloists and jazz-world music etc. doublers.
An extensive lesson is only the beginning of this- you'll be writing out solos by James Moody, and studying the melodic directions of Eric Dolphy on tunes like " Glad To Be Unhappy".

Under the direction of Tim Price, SKYPE flute lessons on every level and beyond. All of this takes place in your own home via SKYPE and at a time that works for you. This is a unique educational environment with Tim Price that offers outstanding opportunities for creative development.
